Mitsubishi WD380U-EST and XD380U-EST Extreme Short-Throw Projectors
Mitsubishi adds to its EST (extreme short-throw) line of ultra short-throw projectors, the WD380U-EST and XD380U-EST with mirror-free design. They use extreme short-throw lenses instead of mirror and comes with a sleek design that makes installation easy and flexible.
Utilizing DLP display technology, the WD380U-EST offers 1280×800 wide format resolution and 2800 lumens brightness while the XD380U-EST has 1024×768 resolution and 2500 lumens. They both have 3000:1 contrast and a lamp life estimated to last up to 6000 hours. The former offers 0.375 throw ratio while the latter has 0.475 throw ratio. These projectors can project a 70-inch (diagonal) WXGA image from less than 23-inches away.
Mitsubishi’s WD380U-EST and XD380U-EST provides HDMI, D-sub, RCA, S-Video inputs, Ethernet LAN connector, RS232 connector, and built-in 10-watt speaker. With USB connectors, both models support computer-free presentations, projecting JPEG and PTG files directly from USB flash drives.
