DLP Projector BenQ MP515 ST

BenQ, in just a period of three years, has moved from another choice on the market display a name to reckon with, garnering good reviews and an even higher number of recommendation on any tech forum. Today we have one of their products, the DLP projector. These children have a complete line of projectors MP515 ST, and is a promising newcomer display "short throw", but let's see for ourselves.

Design and features
This piece is beautifully clad in milky white chassis with a body colored, soft bright aluminum for the lens. BenQ logo is embossed this band and seems fairly classy. There is also table 3 x 3 round buttons with one loner power button, located next to this, trans. Flush tables side height as usual, bearing the same metallic. Back panel has a horizontal strip of i/o, including HDMI, composite, VGA and S-Video, plus a RS-232 control. The bottom table has two screws regular back for height adjustment, along with a central leg dropped from a machined push button, located in the front.

This is a model short throw, so one can place much closer to the screen and still see a large image, perfect for small spaces and rooms. Ratings dictate 55 inches at a distance of 1 meter. The maximum score is 300 inches. brightness is 2500 ANSI lumens, with a healthy contrast ratio 1000: 1. The native res 800 x 600, with a manual zoom 1.20: 1 ratio. The max res support are 1600 x 1200, and also supports 16: 9 aspect ratio. And last but not least, is a DLP projector, with the usual brilliant colour algorithm, in which one can adjust individual channels of the color wheel, i.e. section 6 red, blue, green, cyan, magenta and yellow.
