AIPTEK PocketCinema V20 Pico Projector

TPocketCinema V20 is a miniature LED headlamp by AIPTEK. The manufacturer claims that this projector can project a screen to 65 inches. Unlike the older sibling, which uses the conventional white LEDS as the light source, this one uses the latest technology of RGB LEDS. The projector is bright enough to give you a decent projection – 40 inch, but more would require a pitch dark room. The projector has a video player, MP3 player and photo presentation. Includes 2 GB of built-in memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB using an SD card or MMC. The V20 can accept audio and video signals via a DVD player, media player or a camcorder using the Composite AV input, while VGA interface can connect to a computer or laptop computer. The interface is a standard VGA D-sub, but is actually quite similar to a mini-HDMI connector. So if the cord is lost or damaged, a replacement cable quickly would be next to impossible.Device is a battery operated using a 3.7 v 1700mAH battery, which lasts just half an hour. This can also be supplied via power adapter along. Movies, photos and music can be transferred to the projector that uses the mini-USB port, which also charges the unit. File formats supported are JPG, MP3, MPEG4 and AVI video files, but have to be converted before the transfer, using ArcSoft MediaConverter software which is bundled with the product. Receives files large enough to convert and the file size increases almost four times the original size. For example, a short movie 42 MB was converted into the required format for the projector and the final result was a large 143 MB size. A single 700 MB DivX movie will fill the built-in memory to 1.7 GB. Transfer video to the projector takes ages, with data transfer speeds when they reach 3,3 MB/s. the quality construction of the PocketCinema V20 is way below average. The shell is resilient, but the overall feel of the product is a typical "Chinese" product. The plastic shell case is a black-brown with a standard level of chrome around the House. The upper surface is glossy black and can very easily scratched while handling and transport. The table top has a touch control panel, which is enlightened by using white LEDS. These consist of the menu "," Back "and a D-Pad arrow keys. The interface is very weak and easily navigate the menu is very cumbersome.
