Epson EB-1915 3LCD projector
Tthe week we have another Epson projector for review, but the segment is completely different. There is nothing in the manufacture of DVD player or any other fluff-this is a straight up serious performer suitable for the mobile presenter. Of course it can be used at home too. It comes with a significant price tag. Read to see what we think of the EB-1915
Design and features
A pure milky white chassis greets the projector once it is removed from the bag movement in which black stain, packing with carton snuggled. The unit is fairly flat and even relatively light in weight. There are 2 black stations table top. lens control and one for the other housing the buttons, all of the latter are small black buttons labeled accordingly. The base is also black, aesthetics are a distinct appearance.
At the corners is curvaceous and smooth surfaces-overall very nice looking. The "back" houses the i/o, which is, in no particular order, one HDMI, 3 USB, S-video, composite video, VGA, 2 audio ins ins and one VGA. Last but not least there is an Ethernet port.
The native resolution of this unit is 1024 x 768, thus making it capable of 720 p natively. The used tech and promoted aggressively by Epson 3LCD projection technology is, and is in direct competition with DLP. 3LCD has better colors in my opinion-let's see if this model agrees. The contrast ratio is superior and brightness is a super "chunky" characterization of 4,000 ANSI lumens.
The focus is digital available option together with autofocus. Also, there is an optical zoom of 1.6: 1. The projector comes with 10 watt speaker, therefore the presence of the audio inputs in the back.
Performance
We positioned the unit at a distance of approximately 10 feet from the screen and got a 145 inch screen size. The first thing we have is the ease of set up and monitor the operation, with AutoCorrect focus and Keystone. We were connected via HDMI, display the image in its native res 1024 x 768.
In our tests to grayscale, high lumen brightness. came out clearly in this model. It is a real daylight projector, and more so that the contrast is also very healthy. The low blacks was deep and consistent. Colors were excellent as usual, but we felt a little judicious accuracy of oversaturation in red. The whole color palette was strong and lively due to the light bulb, so overall we have received a very spectacular picture. We played in the classic anime Akira with his unit, and eyecatching was mad colors depicted with considerable force.
Conclusion
At Rs. 1, 59, 000 this unit is not cheap, but the brightness is really high. This is another section on the market, a market in total daylight headlights. So the picture is even better in a dark room. The colors are strong and contrast is very healthy. The weight of light makes this kind of notebook, compared to other heavy projectors, Home theater.
