Barco installs gold 11.1 for Landmark Cinemas systems
Barco is the technological leader in digital cinema. Today, the company announced that they have deployed their 3D gold 11.1 audio system. The audio system will be installed in the theatre circuit third largest to Canada, Landmark Cinemas. In total there are 135 screens in 34 locations and receive all the new and improved audio system. The screens will be also improved with a new digital projector of Barco series 2 digital cinema projectors. "We are honored that Landmark has chosen our solution audio 11.1 gold to enhance the immersive cinema in their premium rooms," commented Scott Freidberg, Vice President of sales for Barco to the United States and the Canada. "As one of major exhibitors at the Canada, this leap forward to 11.1 gold speaks volumes on the landmark commitment to differentiate theatrical experience."
